Interest Rate Renewals

Refixing your mortgage presents an opportunity to get a better deal from the bank and better align your borrowing structure with the state of the market. We can take a look at your specific situation and renew your mortgage rates to best suit your needs.

Get the right deal for the future of your mortgage

Interest rate renewals (otherwise known as refixes) are an opportunity to refresh the structure of your borrowing to ensure that it aligns with your lifestyle and needs, and the external market trends.

While refinancing often involves switching banks, an interest rate renewal involves renegotiating with your existing bank.

Here are the consideration we look at when refixing your mortgage:

  • Changes in your income, spending patterns, lifestyle goals, and ability to save money.

  • Interest rate trends and the likelihood of borrowing to increase or decrease in the coming years.

  • How much of your loan should be fixed vs. floating.

  • How we should split the fixed component of your mortgage into different terms (e.g: 12 months, 18 months, 3 years etc.).

Our approach is dynamic and changes depending on the state of the market, along with the needs of each client. You can trust that we’re applying our skills to secure you the best deal possible.
